Here is what you need to do before taking SAT exam

Truth to be told, getting admission in one of the premiere institutes in countries like UK and US is not that easy as the competition is cut-throat. Though, SAT exam is not that difficult to crack but right timing and preparation are important to get good marks. In case you are having your SAT exam the very next day, here is what all you need to do.

Pack all your stuff: You don’t have to waste your time on finding a pencil or eraser in the examination hall. Stuff all the essentials in the bag-pack a night before. Make sure you have kept your SAT-approved ID card and its copy (in case of emergency). All your SAT preparation can go in vain if you don’t take care of these essentials.

It’s a good idea to go through the entire question paper first and start answering the easier questions first. Keep a check on time and make sure that you have ample of time for the difficult questions to be solved. Revise and stay at home: One should relax a night before the SAT exam. It is not a good idea to study hard or chill out with friends on the night before. Revise all your important notes but do not stress out. Wake up fresh early morning and head to the examination hall.

Stay away from unhealthy food: Yes! Food can considerably affect your performance of the SAT exam. Unhealthy and greasy sugary food can make you feel all dizzy and drowsy and you don’t want to sleep in your exam for sure. You can treat yourself with ice-creams and pizzas once the exam is done but before that you should seriously avoid that.

Do some breathing exercises: It is natural to feel anxious and nervous right before the exam for some students. In such case you can do some breathing exercises or meditation to quell all your anxiety and attempt your exam with confidence.
